Bonnie Quinton, LCSW
Specialty: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Avoiding or Surviving Divorce, Divorce Coach, Co-Parenting Counselor, Blended Families, Individual or Couples Therapy, Child and Adolescent Therapy
Description: Divorce ranges from stressful to devastating for all who experience it. It often raises very strong feelings of hurt, anger, guilt or betrayal, and fear. When children are involved, these feelings can become even more intense for the parents and the children. Bonnie has over twenty years of experience in her private practice helping individuals, couples, and families with the many different issues that life brings. She has specialized in working with families of divorce by providing coaching or therapy to divorcing adults or their children so that all can rebuild for a better future.

Bonnie also facilitates co-parenting. Children's adjustment to divorce correlates directly to the level of parental conflict during and after the divorce. Although they want what is best for their children, parents sometimes find themselves involved in heavy disputes regarding custody, visitation, and parenting styles. Co-parenting counseling is a more positive, and less costly, way to resolve differences than by going through court. Bonnie provides co-parenting sessions that assist parents in interacting and making decisions for their children, even if each parent has negative feelings or beliefs about the other parent. Each parent's specific child-related concerns are addressed, and upon completion of the sessions, there is a written co-parenting plan that the parents have helped create, and have agreed to.

By choosing a collaborative divorce process, you are already making a healthy decision for yourself and your children. As Bonnie assists you through this process, you will appreciate her level of experience, expertise, concern, and professionalism.
